Issues that don’t seem to be tied to anything as I’ve seen complaints from people using high end AMD and Nvidia cards. This game is a perfect example where we have a AAA game from a long running franchise and a well known studio releasing a game that a majority of people are having a huge time with performance issues. But then pre-orders in general are a horrible idea because you never know what you are actually going to get. Now I just pour more gasoline on the flames, because revenge is sweet.ĭon't blame me.

This went on for a while, after which I started realizing that I derived pleasure from every news report mentioning PC gaming issues where consoles were fine. I was (not so) kindly informed that consoles are stupid and slow, graphics are disgusting, and mouse/keyboard controls are far superior.

My "Console Troll" personality developed here at TR because of the ridicule and shaming I got from the self-proclaimed Master Race when I had the audacity to say that I got PS3 to be used as a BluRay player, but I also really enjoyed PS3 gaming (partly because it was so easy to fire up a game to play with friends while drinking beer). That's what tech geeks do - it's pretty wide-spread. What I do dislike is someone looking to pick a fight with people who play video games using different computing platforms than they do, because that's idiotic, tribalistic brand loyalty. It’s becoming an exhausting process just trying to pay attention to storylines while playing these games. You find themes of multiculturalism, feminism, egalitarianism, sexual deprivation, degenerate morality and what have you in pretty much every modern game. What does that tell you? The whole ecosystem is a joke! The gaming industry is controlled by those big corps that do not care about improving and advancing video games, and of course the politically correct forces that are turning games into tools of indoctrination and mass brainwashing. Heck, there is a 20+ times increase in draw call generation in comparison to DX11 using the same processor. It’s another Nvidia title, what do you think you’re gonna get? LameWorks is Nvidia’s way of making games that run just fine on consoles run badly on PCs, which in turn forces our PC master race population to spend millions of dollars on new graphics cards and PC parts that they don’t really need to run these games just to be able to play these games.
Either that, or they want to provide us with a " cinematic experience". Given the frame rate cap alone, it seems they haven't realized that it's actually 2015. Rocksteady has issued a response stating that " aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight." That statement also seems to indicate that the PC port was done by a third party. One can imagine that some of those gamers made use of Steam's recently-implemented refunds policy.
70% of the 3,237 Steam users that reviewed the game gave it a thumbs-down, a number that is growing by the minute. Other issues are present, too-Steam users report texture flickering and slowdowns in the game's menus. The frame rate cap can be removed by altering the game's configuration files (which by itself is a very entertaining activity when one could be gaming), but users are also reporting that even after doing so, there are major stuttering problems, with frame rates dropping as low as 10 FPS. It also appears to be plagued by performance and graphical issues. Reports are coming in that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is capped at 30 FPS.
